The ceiling in the master bedroom rises from 8' at the walk–in closet to 13' at the opposite wall. A pocket door off the dining area opens to a hall that provides access to the study and bedroom 2, and at the end there is a door that opens to a vestibule that provides access to the master bedroom and bath along with the indoor pool area. The rear half of the house is devoted to two bedroom suites, a study/den, and a pool room. Should you choose to build the lower level, the stairs to it are also just off this hall. This hallway wraps around the pantry to the entry, and doors off of it open to a powder room, the laundry, and the two–car garage. A nearby pantry has room for a separate refrigerator and freezer along with shelving, and across a short hall there are two storage closets.

There are corner windows above the sinks for light and views, and there is plenty of counter space with cabinetry above. The kitchen is open to the other spaces, separated only by an angled peninsula counter with a raised bar on the outer edge for casual eating or serving. The original homeowners placed a wood stove near the front door to warm the open living spaces, but this is of course optional. One glazed door off the living room opens to a unique glassed–in sunroom that looks out to and through the wrap–around verandah, while a pair of glazed doors open to the side veranda. The ceiling over these spaces rises from 9' at the edges to a dramatic 15'6" down the middle (front of house to rear). As you come off the covered entryway you step into a large open space containing the living room, the dining area, and the kitchen. A 7'–deep covered verandah at the front wraps around the left side of the house, where it widens to 8' before reaching a large uncovered deck.
